Mi Cuerpo Es Un Animal

I collaborated with Felix Klee on his documentary “Mi cuero es un animal,” which means “My body is an animal.” The letterform of the title design is inspired by the shape of morphed animal renderings that Felix created in the documentary.

An animal remembers all of its past lives in a human shaped world. As a horse it knows it will die in the desert. As a tarantuala it remembers its disgust of human hands. As a crane it wonders which body it will be born into next. Time flows through a living and dying being. What if an animal's body is temporary, but its memories become infinite? — From Felix Klee
